Romance Club - Stories (previously known as Sails in the Fog) is an interactive fiction game set in the age of pirates. This time, you’ll play as a young aristocratic lady whose parents have arranged to marry an evil Spanish nobleman. Your mission: restore your family’s honor with the help of a crew of renegade pirates.
Like other interactive fiction games, Romance Club - Stories has simple gameplay: just make decisions as you advance through the story. The choices you make will not only affect the storyline but also your character’s personality. On top of that, you can customize your character at any time, and change her skin tone, hairstyle, or clothing.
The storyline of Romance Club - Stories is divided into chapters, which you’ll gradually unlock as you play. As you progress through the chapters, you’ll meet new friends and allies, and maybe even a lover. Of course, you’ll also make a few enemies along the way.
Romance Club - Stories is an entertaining romantic adventure inspired by movies like Pirates of the Caribbean or Cutthroat Island. On top of all that, it has great graphics and excellent illustrations.
